TEAM MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Team Manager will responsible for operational/business activities for each team for which assigned. The Team Manager will work closely with the Team Coach. Responsibilities include but are limited to the following:

·   Attend manager meetings as requested

·   Recruit and appoint a team committee to assist with team management as needed (i.e.travel, communications, finances, etc.)

·   Obtain and update information for team players (i.e. birth certificates, health forms, insurance information, player passes, etc.)

·   Work closely with the FCSR Registrar to ensure accuracy of team records (i.e. rosters, player passes, etc.)

·   Act as custodian for team information ensuring the accuracy of records

·   Prepare and distribute team roster with parent information, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.

·   Serve as liaison between the Team Coach and parents/guardians

·   Ensure that all parent/team issues are addressed and solved to a satisfactory and timely resolution.

·   Report unresolved issues to the DOC .

·   Maintain a high level of communication with parents/guardians

·   Provide schedules, field maps, and practice information to parents/players in a timely manner

·   Organize parent/guardians meetings as needed

·   Ensure team complies with USYSA/FYSA rules and regulations

·   Ensure that the club philosophy and FCSR rules are communicate to all team parents/guardians before and during each season

·   Ensure the Team Coach enforces FCSR rules during practice/games/tournaments

·   Coordinate with the DOC the team schedule for each season

·   Coordinate and/or assign travel arrangements for overnight Oversee tournament applications/registrations

·   Obtain travel permits for out-of-state games stays

·   Handle paperwork for guest players as needed

·   Communicate with other teams regarding friendly games, field assignments, directions to tournaments/games, etc.

·   Coordinate referee assignments for scheduled friendly games with the FCSR Referee Assignor

·   Oversee game day activities

·   Coordinate the reschedule of cancelled games as required

·   Report to the DOC and President all cautions and ejections received by FCSR players or team representatives. Verbal notification must be provided with 24 hours of the completion of the game. Written notification must be provide with 72 hours of the completion of the match in which the caution/ejection was issued.

·   Complete player accident reports and provide them to the DOC and President within 24 hours of an injury

·   Coordinate uniform/equipment needs with the Uniform/Equipment Director at the beginning of each season and throughout the season as needed

·   Coordinate and/or assign fundraisers

·   Maintain a team budget

·   Maintain a record of team finances and communicate status to team parents
